In the Grossmont Union High School District, we support the following activities:

  • FTEs for CTE classes in Pathways 
  • FTEs for LL Pathway core teachers 
  • .2 FTE for CTE Coordinator (includes 10 after school meetings @$35 rate)
  • Equipment purchases to enhance existing programs and to build new ones
  • Supply budget for CTE classes 
  • Professional Development for CTE teachers - CTE Model Curriculum Standards aligned with academic standards, focus on Literacy and Project Based Learning- sub costs/hourly PD rate
  • Advisory Board meetings to keep programs current, approve curriculum and equipment purchases
  • Summer Institute and summer curriculum writing to develop LL team products (completed)
  • Job shadows (compensated at PD rate, completed outside of school day) to be completed by early spring 2016 for Linked Learning CTE and core teachers
  • Curriculum writing for LL teams (CTE and Core) and Sequenced Pathways teacher’s products to be completed by early spring 2016 (coordinated with Kim Bellaart)
  • Planning meeting time for Linked Learning teams to be completed June 2016 (coordinated with Kim Bellaart)
  • Industry tours (field trip) for CTE classes and Linked Learning cohorts – bus and teacher sub cost to be completed by early spring 2016
  • Model site visits to other CTE programs
  • Industry conference for CTE teacher and/or option to attend Educating for Career Conference (CTE and Core Team) or Linked Learning conferences
